Flower Photography
(http://www.great-photography-tutorials.com/fl...)
The key to good flower photography is the lighting. We all love to see fields of colorful flowers on a bright sunny day, but in truth, that's the worst kind of lighting for photographing them. The bright sunlight bounces off the flowers, resulting in bright spots and deep, harsh shadows in the image, obscuring any delicate details that might be visible otherwise.

How to Shoot Macro Flower Photography (with any camera)
I have always been fascinated with plants and flowers particularly as subject for photography and taught myself just about everything I know. Consequently, I have devoted a good portion of my life to photographing them. As much as I would love to pursue it full time, photography is a hobby, not my career. Unlike almost all professionals, and many amateurs, I take my pictures with a simple point and shoot camera, and not a particularly good one at that. My current camera is a Samsung BL103: 10.2 MP, 3x optical zoom, and less than $100. I want everyone to know that it doesn't take a $2000 camera to create beautiful shots. And now onto the flowers.

Taking Flower Photos with your Digital Camera!
There are a few ways you can improve the quality of your flower digital images, and we will take quick look at them here. Firstly, taking pictures of flowers takes a lot of patience. When taking photos using a closeup lense, a good tripod to hold the camera still is very useful. If you use close-up lenses, depth of field will be reduced to fractions of an inch. You will have to think very carefully about what part of the flower you want to have in focus. Often, only an edge or a stamen will be sharp.

How to take pictures of Flowers
(http://www.photohowto.info/how-take-pictures-...)
Flowers have so far been the most fascinating creations of Mother Nature. The variety of their shapes, colors, and even smells has enchanted us for centuries now! Says the most famous writer, Ralph Waldo Emerson: Earth laughs in flowers! Thus flowers are definitely the most exciting and experimental subjects while photography. Not only are we attracted by its form and colors, there is whole lot of innovation of geometry, textures, hues and fragrances within its elements. Further more going into details, its seasonal variations too are eye catching.

How to Take Pictures of Flowers
(http://www.photography.com/articles/technique...)
Sunlight is not your friend when taking pictures of flowers. Sunlight shining off leaves and petals obscures the details of flower photos and causes problems with over exposure. The first rule of how to take pictures of flowers is to avoid direct sunlight. Overcast days are ideal for taking pictures of flowers: The softer, more diffuse light lets the petals of the flower stand out and become the focus of the picture. If you can’t avoid sunlight, opt for the warm light of early morning or evening, rather than the harsh light of noon.

Set up a tripod, clip on camera, then snap, snap it's in the bag, camera, chip.. whatever? Maybe... but consider a few unexpected impediments first.
