5 Ways to Avoid the Worst Digital
(http://www.picturecorrect.com/photographytips...)
It is not uncommon for beginners to make digital photography mistakes when they first venture into this hobby. I used to make those awful photography mistakes and my photos were terrible! Red-Eye; Subject is too far ; Blurry Photos ; Underexposed Photos ; Overexposed Photos

Single Image HDR: Part 1
(http://www.usa.canon.com/dlc/controller?act=G...)
What is High Dynamic Range? It means a broad range of light that can be measured and recorded by a single exposure. Very seldom can you get an entire range of light in one single photograph, particularly with scenes that contain a lot of contrast -- bright widows and a dimly lit interior, or a sky against shaded mountains, for example. There is always something lost in the process, some over- or under-exposed as with the examples above. HDR processing makes it possible to restore those lost highlights and shadows in a scene. In addition, the color hues and tones produce vivid colors never seen before in an image. All of this can be done without any artificial lighting.

Photographic Exposure
(http://www.robert-barrett.com/photo/exposure....)
Obtaining good exposure for a photograph is achieved by allowing an appropriate amount of light to enter the camera and expose the film -- too much light and the photograph will be overexposed; too little, underexposed. The correct amount of light depends on four factors:

Help: My pictures look flat, out of focus/blurry/not crisp enough, dull, overexposed
(http://www.aguntherphotography.com/tutorials/...)
One question that seems to plague a few of you is how to give your pictures some pop (one o!). Why do my pictures often look so colorful while your pictures sometimes look a bit flat or out of focus/blurry/not sharp enough/not crisp enough. Do you have a broken camera or are you missing some other magical button.

DSLR Tips Workshop: How to brighten daytime portraits with a fill-in flash
(http://www.dslrtips.com/workshops/How_to_brig...)
If you’re taking photos of people on a bright or overcast day, you can often find them appearing a little too dark on the photo. This is because the camera’s been fooled by the bright background and reduced its exposure to compensate. The result is a perfect-looking background but an underexposed person in front of it. The trick here is not to brighten the overall exposure, but to simply use your flash to boost the foreground light. This is called a ‘fill-in’ flash and in this workshop we’ll show you what you need to do.

The Basics of Photography
(http://www.photography.tutorialsstock.com/Bas...)
Photography comes from the Greek words meaning ???light writing??? and first became known back in 1839 by Sir John Herschel. For many years prior to this, people had discovered ways of causing certain chemicals to change color when exposed to light but they did not discover ways of getting the images to remain permanent until later on.

Flash Diffusers and Reflectors Usage
(http://www.photography.tutorialsstock.com/Acc...)
Flash photography allows you to take pictures in all manner of places but there are afew common problems that come along with it that many digital cameraowners fall into the trap of including: harsh shadows cast on walls behind your subject over exposed subjects - harshly and unnaturally lit

Exposure Bracketing
(http://www.photography.tutorialsstock.com/Bas...)
Exposure bracketing means that you take two more pictures: one slightly under-exposed, and the second one slightly over-exposed, again according to your camera's light meter.

Camera Raw Fill Light
(http://www.secondpicture.com/blog/camera_raw_...)
Camera Raw is Adobe's Plug-In software for Photoshop which provides capability to open raw files. Raw image provides flexible processing possibilities due to its great color depth. In Camera Raw there is control named Fill Light which, like its name says, brings more brightness to the dark areas of the photograph. Camera Raw's Exposure and Fill Light controls together can even save a raw image which is partly over exposed and partly under exposed.
